Q&A
Got questions? We’ve got answers!
How far in advance should we book?
As soon as you have your wedding date and venue confirmed. Popular dates can book well in advance, especially during peak wedding season.
How do we secure our wedding date?
Your date is secured once we have received your signed agreement and the 30% booking retainer.
The remaining balance is due four weeks before your wedding.
Where do you photograph weddings?
We photograph weddings across Pretoria, Johannesburg, Centurion, Midrand, Hartbeespoort and surrounding areas.
Travel outside our standard area can also be arranged.
Do you work as a team?
Yes. We photograph weddings together, giving you two photographers and two different perspectives throughout your day.
How many photographs will we receive?
Our current collections include a minimum of:
4 hours — 250+ edited photographs
6 hours — 400+ edited photographs
8 hours — 600+ edited photographs
If there are more beautiful images that belong in your story, we include them.
Are all our photographs edited?
Yes. Every photograph in your final gallery is carefully selected and professionally edited for colour, exposure, cropping and consistency.
Do you deliver RAW files?
No. We deliver the finished, professionally edited photographs that represent our final work.
How long will it take to receive our wedding photographs?
Your full wedding gallery is normally delivered within 4–6 weeks of your wedding day.
How will we receive our photographs?
Your photographs are delivered through a private online gallery, where you can view, download and share your images.
Do you photograph getting ready?
Yes, if getting-ready coverage falls within your booked photography hours.
For shorter packages, having your preparations, ceremony and reception at the same venue helps us make the most of your coverage time.
Do you take family photographs?
Absolutely. We recommend preparing a short family-photo list before the wedding so we can work through them efficiently.
Will you photograph speeches, cake cutting and the first dance?
Yes, as long as these take place during your booked coverage period.
If these moments are especially important to you, the 6-hour or 8-hour collection generally gives you more flexibility.
Do you help us plan the photography timeline?
Yes. Before the wedding, we’ll go through the photography timing with you so we can make sure the important moments fit comfortably into your chosen coverage.
What happens if it rains?
Rain doesn’t automatically mean poor wedding photographs. We’ll work with the venue, available covered spaces and the weather conditions on the day to make the most of what we have.
Can we add extra photography time?
Yes, subject to availability. Additional coverage can be added if you realise you need more time.
Can family and friends download the photographs?
Yes. Your private gallery can be shared with family and friends, and you control who has access.
Can we print our own photographs?
Yes. You’ll receive high-resolution digital files suitable for personal printing.
Do you pose us?
We’ll guide you during couple and family portraits so you never feel unsure about what to do, but our overall approach is relaxed and natural rather than heavily posed.
What if we feel awkward in front of the camera?
Most couples do at first. You don’t need to know how to pose. We’ll guide you gently and keep things relaxed so your photographs still feel like you.
Do you only photograph weddings?
Weddings are our main focus, which allows us to concentrate on creating a consistent and thoughtful wedding-photography experience.
